Moments in Grace really surprised me. They were the opening band on a show that I went to last night. I wasn't at the show to see them, and was pleasantly surprised when they came on stage. They play an energetic, straightforward brand of rock. The thing that makes them stand out are the vocals and the intense melodies they take advantage of. With a lead singer who has a great range, it would be criminal for these guys not to take advantage of it.

Moments in Grace have a CD coming out in June, but until then, you can get a free Internet E.P. on their website at www.momentsingrace.com. I think this is a brilliant move for a band who wants to build a following before they drop a full-length album. These four songs will give you a good feel for the band, and for free, you might just feel compelled to check it out. Between that and touring, there is no better way to sell copies of an album. This EP is a way for the band to let you know what you are going to get on the full-length album without giving you the full-length album.
