If you want to know just how shocked Middle America was by the Justin and
Janet Nipplegate routine, then check out the Smoking Gun's website. They have got their hands on 1750 emails and letters that have been sent to US media regulator the FCC to express shock and awe at the breast revealing routine. Interestingly, the website notes that none of the emails sent to the FCC were sent on the night of the incident, suggesting most people who wrote in did so after getting caught up in the media backlash rather than off their own back.
