Music ramblings...

Flipping through the channels the other day, noticed that Melissa Etheridge has a new album out, and her first single is a remake of the Greenwheel hit "Breathe". She does a good job of it, but I still like the Greenwheel version better... Whatever happened to those one hit wonders from about 2 years ago??
Looks like they're in the studio as of Feb 14, and they were just here in Detroit back at the beginning on Feb!

In more music stuff, Tears for Fears is returning with a new album in April!! It's called: "Everybody Loves a Happy Ending" - Very cool! I loved them when they were big in the 80s, I own 'Elemental', and 'The Seeds of Love' - I might have a tape version of 'Songs from the Big Chair'. Back in my 12 remix days, I think I bought a remix of 'Shout' too... The new album is supposed to sound like a follow up to 'The Seeds of Love', which was a great album... The first single off the new album, "Closest Thing to Heaven" has a lot of the "Seeds" feel, and has the recognizable Roland voice. The new single has plenty of Beatles feel to it, much like the "Seeds" album did. It has potential, hope it does well when it comes out in April!
