Pixies sell out gigs

The popularity of the Pixies remains big in the States too. Following those
speedy sell out UK dates, news from America that tickets for 11 of the 12
reunion dates over there sold out within in minutes this weekend. Tickets
for the twelfth show are yet to go on sale. One venue - the 1,600-seat
Prairieland venue in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan - is rejigging things inside so
they can double their capacity for their Pixies gig.
Rehearsals have already begun in LA for the comeback tour. Frank Black told
reporters: "We were all a little nervous when we first got together, but
within maybe five minutes, everything felt completely comfortable, and it
was like the last 11 years had never happened."
