Yahoo, also owns AltaVista.com and AllTheWeb.com, which were acquired through the Overture.com AKA Go-To.com purchase last year, plus the purchase of Flickr.com to add picture/photo searching abilities...</description>

<description>VERY interesting Bruce. I also have a My Yahoo! homepage and have used the search box there until now and was wondering if I would have to switch to Google, since I am no longer getting the Google service from Yahoo!

It&#039;s pretty amazing how similar they seem, though I will keep in mind your final caveat. Thanks!</description>
