<description>Some people consider this one of Bogart&#039;s greatest, unknown films. I loved it and thought the performances were uniformly superb. The avant garde sets were also terrific. 

There&#039;s a great write up on this film in Danny Peary&#039;s fantastic &quot;Cult Movies&quot; books (there are three of them). They may be out of print now, but if you run across them, buy them immediately. No movie fan should live long without reading these great books....</description>
