My problem with P2P remains that while I should be able to pick friends to swap files with, just as I could loan a friend a book or CD, but allowing strangers a backdoor to come into my machine and take any files I have just becaue I have them. I know that this function can be turned off, but I can see where this creates the problems.

I can see where music, software and others have a problem with the way this particular functionality works and it being infringement.
