AC/DC album finished

Fifa Riccobono - chief of Albert Productions - has told Aussie website
Undercover that AC/DC have written all the tracks for their next album, but are yet to get into the studio to start recording. That said there is still the chance of a 2004 release.

Ricconono confirmed that the band's 'Back In Black' would be one of the first albums to appear on the hybrid CD/DVD format we reported on last week.
The format delivers the album in CD format on one side and DVD on the other - allowing users to access the improved sound quality of DVD without preventing them from playing it on their CD players.

However Ricconono quashed rumours of a greatest hits album: "The guys aren't
interested in a best of. They never have been. They have had a wonderful
philosophy. They don't like compilation albums and have always turned them
down."

Interesting that they don't like compilations or Best Of albums. This will be good for their heirs because posthumously we'll see plenty of collections. They have a boxed set of Bon Scott stuff that was pretty cool.
