They also decided at one time that it was okay to put people who did not look like them in slavery. Cross a bay horse with a chestnut horse, you sometimes get a dun horse. That is still a horse. It is not a chestnut horse, it is not a bay, it is a DUN HORSE. But when it comes to people, it becomes very inconvenient to see it this way because this only confirms that we are institutionalizing racism in the most illogical way. Then it gets uncomfortable.
