Today's music de jour. From the jingling of the bells that open this work, my favorite among Mahler's nine symphonies, I'm transported. What an ethereal, dreamy composition. Music to wonder by. To think you can buy it for $6.98 - at amazon.com, where I got the picture above - is nothing short of astonishing. This is the best $6.98 you'll ever spend.
