Seriously, owning a home is supposed to be the American dream. This is an executive position and they don't think they should have to pay enough that their executive can buy a freaking house within 75 miles of where the job is located?

Or maybe they don't really care about this Internet enforcement shit and it's just a cosmetic position?

Oh well, I guess you can commute for four hours a day to Encino from a cave in Oxnard or something.

Craig, I think I'd go with rock gardens. The beauty of rocks is really under-rated in my opinion. And they're so environmentally low-impact.

Yeah, that last line is sort of strange. They want a CA resident to work for West Virginia (if that) wages. What, are they on their own little crusade to depress wages in the Golden State (while protecting their own intellectual property entitlements)?

Not too surprising, really.

considering the level of experience they're looking for, that amount of money is low in nearly any part of the country.

Gee, $65K sounds like good money to me, even in CA. I guess I have low standards. (Owning a house? That's for rich people who don't have to work and have time for all that maintenance and shit.)

It seems really low to me too. Especially if you consider the cost-of-living in Cali, at least according to what I have heard.
