In fact, there was not a single moment in "Kill Bill" where I even remotely felt as if I was watching anything but a pretentious, extremely indulgent, obsessively derivative film. I can't remember the last time I was as bored watching a film as I was sitting through the mess known as "Kill Bill." I'm told I'm supposed to like this film. I was told I was supposed to like "JFK" too. However, one minor comment. I liked Kill Bill very much. I thought it was great as a matter of fact. HOWEVER... it doensn't carry that "quality" of an Oscar winner.
