Both Norma and Michael had a pet ape. Both indulge in spending sprees. Take Malcolm Mclaren's song "Fans" (<i>Dear Michael Jackson, I'm your biggest fan ...</i>) and compare with Max von Mayerling's fan letters. Paramount only wanted Norma's car, Sony only wants Michael's Beatles catalogue. Both have a thing for younger males.
