<description>That&#039;s interesting because one of the popular Tuvan folk songs is all about armpits. Seems they have a love-hate relationship with armpits. I think I heard that somewhere. By the way, I can only make disgusting fart sounds with my armpits. I haven&#039;t really learned to carry a tune.</description>

<description>There were smiles and light moments during the concert, but no guffaws.  The singers perform seated, wearing colorful silk robes, and maintain a somewhat monklike calm even during the most energetic parts of the music.  (When they all sing at once the effect is pretty mindblowing.)</description>

<description>One of my friends in college had a record of Inuit throat music, which I dug deeply, as it were. What I like liked best about it was the fact that the songs ended when the singers could no longer resist laughing. I wonder if this is also true of the Tuva singers. I also liked the song names e.g. &quot;Song About a Thumb.&quot;</description>
