Enhanced Google search functions

Am I late to the party here? Did I completely overlook this while everyone else was merrily inputting numbers? Google has added number search functionality which will allow you to input and track UPS, FedEx and USPS tracking numbers, as well as Vehicle ID (VIN) numbers, UPC codes, FAA airplane registration numbers and patent numbers... directly from the Google interface. And since I use the Apple Safari browser with built-in Googlesearch window, that means the search capability is right there in front of my face at all times. This is in addition to the telephone area codes and map-linked zipcodes that have been searchable for a while. (news first spotted here, via a link from here).

Google is just too cool. Too, too cool. I want this book even more now!

Google is just getting better all the time. Makes you wonder why Yahoo wants to make a break -- what's the point?
