Florida's Tampa Bay Area Ranks As Great Place For Living, Working and Doing Business

Tampa Bay Partnership CEO Stuart Rogel recently said in a statement released by the area economic development organization that, "The climate is right for business in Tampa Bay."

He may be right, but the climate also looks great for more than business, alone. Tampa Bay ranks in the top 13 in quite a few ranking categories.

For example, it's the No. 1 wired market for having children ages 7 to 12 online, according to AOL/Digital Marketing Services. But that's not all.

Tampa Bay ranks No. 13 by Expansion Management Magazine for the best logistical metro area, it ranks No. 12 by Employment Review Magazine and BestJobsUSA.com for best place to live and work, and it ranks No. 9 for manufacturing expansions and relocations according to Expansion Management Magazine.

Tampa Bay also ranks No. 1 as the top buyer's market for office property, according to a study conducted by Sperry Van Ness, and it ties with Honolulu for No. 1 when it comes to technology, receiving the Digital Cities Award for technology innovation and electronic government.

The area was also ranked "Mega Market of the Year" by Southern Business & Development Magazine.

With such high rankings, it's no wonder so many people want to live, work and invest in Tampa Bay.

Information from the St. Petersburg Times was used for this report.

Great Site. I used to live down there, but had to move to Charlotte, NC for work, since finding jobs down there was tough.

Heres a great site in charlotte, NC.

www.charlotteonestop.com

Check it out and let everyone who is interested in Charlotte know about it. Great information for anyone who is thinking about moving or visiting here.

kindest regards,

Charlotte's a horrible place to live. I don't know why anyone would choose to live there over Tampa Bay, unless they absolutely had no other choice.

Editors, shouldn't Kimberly be sending her site review request to an editor? Unless, of course her post is SPAM.

Are we allowing comment SPAM, or comment SPAM in disguise now here at BC? If so, I think I'll go SPAM all the posts.

Cheers.
