Cheaper By The Dozen with Steve Martin in actually a remake from 1950. I didn't know until I'd checked for more information when I'd watched the movie already.

Well, the movie was pretty funny in parts. There were parts when I really had to laugh. Like for example when the eldest daughter brought her boyfriend to her family and started kissing like mad in front of the parents and the mother stood up and shouted, because the daughter just didn't quit kissing. And it gets even worse after that scene, when that dog runs after the boyfriend because of the underwear. I sat here and laughed and screamed laughing. The scenes were great. But all in all the story was very average after all. I liked some of the actors, mostly the adult ones, the girls. But the acting was not really in any way outstanding.

It's just a quite typical Steve Martin movie. But for entertainment it's nice to watch once.
