Fannie Mae Forecasts Strong 2004 Home Sales

Fannie Mae's chief economist, David Berson, forecasts the number of sales to be strong for the number of new and existing home sales to occur in 2004. Fannie Mae says that it estimates 7.04 million homes will sell this year, up 8.4 percent from last year's 6.54 million. Fannie Mae forecasts that 6.73 million will sell next year with a growing economy.
