The one time i've had to make a complaint to ebay about another user ( a seller), i made sure i'd tried contacting the seller several times (in fact to start with they gave excuses, then just automated replies from their e-mail address)
They sent the 9what i think is) more or less egenric reply, recommending i try a dispute settling site (which of course didn't work) but the user's account did get NARU'd

I think my new to the Net friends want reassurance that they won't be ripped off. But, I can't, in good faith, tell them that. The most I can say is that cheaters usually take relatively small amount of money or goods. I've also advised them that if buying or selling a product that is valued at $100 or more to use PayPal, which, I know from experience, will sometimes get your money back from an unscrupolous merchant.

I was ripped off and had no recourse because the company hides in Canada. Ebay will do nothing.

I tried to buy a Jeep as my 1st purchase. I received a 2nd chance offer and went forward with it. I was sending ebay (E-Bites) questions about this dealer. I not once received an answer to my questions. I got standard Padded answers that meant nothing. I also found out that ebay (E-Bites) was not receiving all my mail. It was being re-routed to the scammers. They even called me and talked to me on the phone to answers questions so I would continue to go along with the scam. I got had for $15k and ebay (E-Bites) would not do anything for me. I want this to be known that Ebay (E-Bites) should be shut down or cleaned up to were people have a good sense of SAFTEY (something that is not offered now) EVERY person on (E-Bites) should NEVER Deal with them again. Find another and BETTER, SAFER place to buy and sell goods.
I would like to build my own auction site that can't be screwed up by scammers but I am far to busy trying to regain my $15K I lost on (E-Bites)
DO NOT DEAL ON E-BAY !!!!!!

Be very careful about any information which you supply to ebayersthatsuck.com. They will reveal your identity shamelessly and will not respond to requests to take the info down. I am not even a seller. I am a buyer who turned to them.

Presently, three state attorneys general are looking into my case, and I have lodged a complaint with the FCC naming Steven and Edward Klink (owners).

tmugwump; how did they reveal your identity? I mean, if you signed up with your ebay ID, isn't that YOU revealing your identity?
