Was it really ten years ago? I regret not discovering Zappa's music until just before he died, so I never had the opportunity to see him live.

For those who need a Zappa fix: The Ensemble Modern is coming out with a new release "Greggery Peccary and other Persuasions" in January (supposedly). Their website claims that the release date was November 17th, but I haven't seen it anywhere.

Mark, thanks for reminding me. Subliminally, I brought "Z in NY" "Roxy and Elsewhere" and "Joe's Garage" with me to work today. What an outstanding talent. Maybe tonight I'll go home and try to learn "Echidna's Arf (of you)" on the bass. Should be good for a few hours of pain and humiliation.
