But Mummy, I want Osama AND Saddam

Caught red-handed!
They may not have caught Osama or Saddam for real, but at least they caught someone trying to make a quick buck from the publicity surrounding these two.
From the article:
"The 400 Osama Bin Laden dolls and 50 Saddam Hussein dolls were discovered during a routine search at the port in Haifa, northern Israel." (BBC news)
(looks like poor old Saddam isn't as popular as Osama eh?)
To be honest, the guy who imported them can't really have expected the authorities to not be interested. I imagine there'd be quite an outcry if the same happened in the US, and possibly the UK too. Seriously, who'd want a none-comical doll of either of these people? Hell, a non-comical doll of Bush or Blair would be pushing it. There must be some seriously wierd people around.

John Kerry John Edwards two men for the peace of the world
John Edwards speaks the heart of America - hope and optimism. He is a lifelong champion for America's families who has shown courage and conviction standing up for America's values. In the Senate, he has a record of reaching across Party lines and working to reform our intelligence, to combat bioterrorism and keep our military strong. Together, we will campaign tirelessly across the country - fighting to build an America that is stronger at home and respected in the world.
