JackoTV

We really are a prurient nation, at least that's what commercial television seems to think based upon the JackoTV schedule:

Almost all the networks and cable channels are feverishly at work on, or are getting ready to re-air, a string of Michael Jackson programs.

    Among the upcoming programming highlights:

Barbara Walters is slated to interview Jackson's older brother, Jermaine, on ABC;s "20/20" tonight.

VH1 has a new show, "Michael Jackson Sex Scandal" airing Sunday at 9:30 p.m. At 7:30, it is also repeating last winter's "Living with Michael Jackson," the controversial documentary from U.K. journalist Martin Bashir.

NBC's "Dateline" has cleared its schedule to devote its entire broadcast tonight to the Jackson case as well as a special edition tomorrow night. [NY Post]

I find all of this depressing and disgusting and have no desire to see any of it again.

i hate the talking heads that seem to know EVERYTHING about him..except they have never met him.. These are the ones that make me sick...the diane dimonds and catherine crier.

they have truley lost sight of the innocent until proven guilty

it is a shame that michael has no close friends to say to him.....honey..stop with the face work...and get away from those kids......
but i guess people get so caught up in kissing his ass they end up kissing more than the bargained for.

me thinks they are going to bargain for a lot.

cool out with a shimmey shout,

So Jack E, do you think he's a pedophile or not? And the friends don't appear to be jumping to his defense this time around, only the family.

Some are.

As to the disgusting behavior of the media -- can you say "ratings points?"

Wankers.

Very interesting, but these aren't the usual suspects Friends O Michael, and I see more of objections to the media treatment and the behavior of the authorities than defense of Michael per se. Although I have joked, there is nothing funny about any of it - I'm just a smartass.
