Published November 19, 2003
You thought "What is the sound of one hand clapping?" was profound? How about the sound of our universe, emerging literally from nothing? Hear it right here. The story about how it came to be is here.
This is the most interesting thing I've come across online in some time.

by the Bongos?
It sounds like Forbidden Planet to me. Anyway, this "sound" has been increased in frequency by 10 to the 26th power to put it into the range of human hearing.
I think I heard this on a Pink Floyd Album or was it some Ambient track I was listening to.
while conceptually awesome, the sound itself is rather anticlimactic, less a Big Bang than a Smallish Drone
