No prob - Dawn forced me to watch one of those wretched E! channel profiles on her wide load. They actually had a scene from Cannes where you could hear beeping when she backed up - you'd think with her money she'd get it disconnected or something.

She is a moderately appealing actress given the right role, she is a passable comedian, she is a middling pop-house recording artist like hundreds and hundreds of others, she has a lot of money and lives regally. Beyond that, she has an awful body for someone who has trainers for every part of it - the big butt, no chest look is dead, her face is flat too. That's all I've got, I don't get her either. I wish she would go back to the neighborhood and shut the fuck up.

Forgive my naivete` but I don't see what the big deal with J-Lo is. She's in the news too often with stories which aren't all that newsworthy, IMHO.

And put me in the group that could care even less about her and Ben Affleck getting married -- or not getting married. What am I missing about this artist? What music of hers is worthy of almost Michael Jackson-like press coverage? (these are genuinue interest questions, not sarcasm, btw)

So can somebody succintly bring me up to speed on the J Lo media fascination?

I never knew that Jennifer Beal's character was based on a real person. So there really was a woman who was a welder by day and dancer by night?

Er - I don't believe unintentional parody counts. :)

I have seen this video and I can't believe any judge in the land would consider this anything other than parody. MY drink came out of MY nose.
