The Human Race Machine

Invented by the great artist Nancy Burson, it generates composite photographs that show you what you'd look like if you were a member of another race. It was one of the most popular attractions at the Millennium Dome in London, where it drew hundreds of thousands of people. If you live anywhere near New York City, seeing and interacting with this astounding device is well worth the trip.

Just look at this picture generated by the Human Race Machine (on the cover of the current Scientific American). It is mesmerizing.
