"Goooood morning Supreme Court!"

Does the word "counterculture" have any meaning left when Good Morning Vietnam DJ Adrian Cronauer is now a lawyer for the Pentagon? Has the system changed, Cronauer changed, or both? Or is it just the inevitable march of time?

Adrian Cronauer, 65, was sworn in Wednesday to the Supreme Court Bar. He had been played by Robin Williams in the 1987 movie based on his stint as an Armed Forces Radio disc jockey in Vietnam.

"It was very impressive," said Cronauer, a former communications lawyer who now handles prisoner-of-war issues for the Pentagon. "You look around the courtroom and you think, `This is the place, this is where history is made every day.'" [AP]
