Simon and Garfunkel frenzied releases

Sony are cashing in on the hype surrounding the current Simon & Garfunkel
comeback tour with the release of both a CD and DVD later this month. The
duo's US tour has been so successful three extra New York dates have now
been added. But with no talk of any European dates S&G fans over here will
have to make do with the Essential Simon & Garfunkel CD and a DVD release of
their legendary 1981 Central Park concert.
The former is a newly compiled double CD containing 40 of Simon &
Garfunkel's most famous songs, including all 6 UK singles: 'Homeward Bound',
'I Am A Rock', 'Mrs Robinson', 'The Boxer', America' and 'Bridge Over
Troubled Water'.
The DVD features a previous comeback performance - that from 1981 - and
offers live performances of no less than 22 S&G classics.
