<description>I read this book cover to cover and found it to be an astounding work.  very accuately researched and a marvelous read.  Can&#039;t say I agree with Mr. Sipos&#039; ill considered comments which suggest that he actually didn&#039;t read the book.</description>

<description>I have to disagree about Mr. Sipos comments about the author&#039;s use of the word revanent.  That term is generic for any risen or reanimated corpse, and Mr. MacDougall certainly does mention the living dead films in various places and is an obvious fan of them.

I thought the book was superb, cover to cover</description>

<description>Sounds like a good book anyway - even with the &quot;negative&quot; points you mentioned. For further reading Montague Summers and his two volumes on vampires are highly recommended - though he puts the Romanians in the Slavic chapter, too;-) </description>
