Real Estate Investors Buy Apartment Complexes, Convert and Sell as Condos

Many real estate investors, when the popularity of renting decreased, began buying apartment complexes and converting rental units into condos to sell. The trend continues, even as interest rates increase. So far, the total investors have spent to purchase apartment complexes to convert into condos is $1.1 billion and the purchases total 25 percent of apartment complex sales in areas that include Florida's Tampa Bay area and various portions of South Florida.

Considering that the popularity of buying continues to grow, these investors are very savvy when it comes to spending money to make quite a bit more.
