Love: I am not an addict.

Courtney Love has told US magazine Us Weekly that, despite those recent
drugs charges and reported overdose, she is not a drug addict. She told the
mag: "I want to make one thing clear right now. I do not take narcotics. I have taken prescription pills, and I went to rehab once. I take Xanax that is prescribed to me, but practically everybody does that nowadays. But I do not take street narcotics."

On the reported custody battle for her daughter Frances Bean, who was initially put in the care of Kurt Cobain's mother after the latest drugs charges. Love said: "there is no fight. She is back with my stepfather and sister, she's doing great. We are in the middle of a reunification process. I have visitation time every day. My kid loves me, and I love my kid. She's been scared, but she's taking it like a champ."

There's no way Courtney honestly thinks that because she doesn't take "street drugs" she's not an addict. How could she think anyone would buy into that load of crap. People hooked on prescription pills are drug addicts too. She's been to enough rehabs to know this. Not everyone takes Xanax. Life's stressful sometimes---deal with it. Courtney Love was a pill popper from way back and never stopped. Hopefully her daughter will finally make her stop her habit.

Yes. She is in complete denial. It is partly the star thing, I think. Apparently, she is not in touch with just folks enough to know the strongest medication most of us take is aspirin or Motrin for the occassional headache.

Yeah, when did Courtney go sailing in Egypt?

Frances is taking it like a champ?

This speaks volumes about the few brain cells Courtney has left.

"I'm so proud of my kid for being so good at being forced to cope with such abnormal parental behavior, especially considering she's hardly 10!"

Congratulatins, Courtney. You're robbing your kid of whatever normal childhood she might have been able to have.
