<description>The Thing doesn&#039;t scare me so much as encloses me in a world that I never want to visit and keeps me there until finally releasing me, 90 some odd minutes later, exhausted.  

It is one of those movies that forces me into chatter with whoever is watching to relieve the tension.  </description>
