Love in scuffle at court fight

The battle for custody of Kurt Cobain's daughter Frances Bean reportedly led to a court room scuffle last week. As previously reported, Frances Bean was
taken out of the care of Courtney Love earlier this month when the former Hole singer was arrested for being under the influence of drugs, later taking an overdose in the company of her daughter. Custody was given to Frances Bean's grandmother, Cobain's mother Wendy O'Connor.
Love, who is reportedly distraught over losing custody of her daughter, was
in court last week trying to win her back. Reports in People magazine say that when an LA court suggested Love should move out of her home so that Frances could live there with her nanny, Love's stepfather and an aunt, the singer lashed out. The magazine says she then engaged in a tense argument with O'Connor and that "there were slaps."
Because a child is involved local authorities are not able to comment on the case. However Love's lawyer confirmed his client was considering enrolment
in treatment and counselling programmes in order to avoid a custodial sentence on the drugs charges, which will hopefully speed up her bid to win France Bean back.

Lord! Courtney makes her situation worse every time. I hope Frances was not there to observe the fisticuffs.
