Mitch is a scream

Mitch Benn, whose gig I reviewed yesterday, was kind enough to give me a copy of his latest CD. Unlike some musicians, his comedy does translate well onto CD. You have fifteen tracks to ensure that you will laugh yourself hoarse. All of his stuff is clever but several of his tracks are Spitting Image at their prime quality. Tracks like 'Imagine You Were Mine' (a stalker love song), 'Macbeth (My Name Is)' (Eminem as Macbeth), 'Tabloid Journalists' and the hysterical 'Rock & Rock Hall of Death' are worth the price of the CD all by themselves. Anyway, I can't do this CD justice. Its like Monty Python Sings, every song is a corker. Just go buy the bloody thing!

Rating: 5

Spitting Image as in 1980s hilarious show on British TV?
