Elton to do Vegas

CMU has this tidbit:

Word is Elton John has signed a 31 million pounds deal to perform 75 shows in Las
Vegas over three years. The proposed gigs package will see John performing
three five week seasons at the city's Palace Colosseum, filling the venue
when resident artist Celine Dion's is on holiday.

At the early stages of the talks between Elton and the Colosseum's
management there were rumours the singer would commit to a Dion-esque three year residency. But John's management denied those reports saying their
client wouldn't forgo the opportunity to tour in favour of a regular Vegas show.

We all knew he would end up there someday. Right?

Marty's band, Growing Old Disgracefully, can be found at: Disgraceful Music. His Cthulhu tales can be found at Temple of Dagon.

It was one of those teasing things because of the weird characters ;)

we have an ongoing issue with characters - that's the one problem I have with Movable Type: it is very delicate in that regard.
