That gig in South Africa to raise awareness of the AIDS crisis there is back
on. The event, a key part of Nelson Mandela's AIDS awareness programme, was due to take place in February but was cancelled when some financial backerspulled out. But with money in place organisers now hope to stage the event on 29 Nov.
Beyonce, Queen, Bono, Anastacia, Ms Dynamite and a host of African acts are
already confirmed for the Cape Town concert, which will be released as a CD
and DVD in the New Year.
