CMU reports:

A US judge has cleared Eminem of allegations of defamation over references to a childhood bully that featured in the track 'Brain Damage' on the Slim Shady LP. DeAngelo Bailey - who Mathers referred to as a violent bully on
the track - was suing the rapper claiming he was not involved in the
bullying of Eminem at school, and that the track therefore defamed him.

But Judge Deborah Servitto dismissed the $1 million defamation lawsuit
before it even reached court - summing up her decision in a rap of her own:
"Mr. Bailey complains that his rep is trash / So he's seeking compensation
in the form of cash / Bailey thinks he's entitled to some monetary gain /
Because Eminem used his name in vain / The lyrics are stories no one would
take as fact / They're an exaggeration of a childish act / It is therefore
this court's ultimate position / That Eminem is entitled to summary
disposition.
