The 'Simply Irresistible' singer has passed away today in Paris. - Robert Palmer had some great hits in addition to his song with the cool 'all girl' video, 'Get It On' (w/Power Station), 'Addicted to Love' ... There must be something in the Cristal.

Seriously, I adore Robert Palmer. What a kick in the stomach it was to get this news this morning -- talk about a rude awakening.

Thanks to Mr. Palmer for his enduring lesson: "It takes every kinda people to make the world go 'round."

I also loved the way he turned "I
Didn't Mean to Turn You On" around, which was written for a teenage girl
