AND THEY'RE OFF!

The California gubernatorial debate is happening right now. Arnold has finally decided to appear.
From the outset, Bustamonte seeems the one best informed. Not surprising, since he's actually involved in the government right now.
I don't usually watch debates like this. I confess. I usually just read the information on the voter ballot. This ballot, though, doesn't have any candidate information. They didn't have time to put in their usual paragraphs.
Arnold does not look at informed as an executive of a state ought to be.
Huffington looks kind of surface too.
Hate to say it, but Bustamonte looks the best. I'd LIKE to be for the Green or the independent, but if someone is giving an intelligent answer to a real question, that's hard to resist.

Just heard an audio clip of my man Busta Bustamante in response to a question about the rightness or wrongness of the recall: "...I know people who are organizing right now to recall the winner of this election if he is a Republican..."
Hmm...whatever could he mean?
(Didn't put much effort into this, and there was little response.)
I don't know since I'm dealing with the election in OnScario. We have the unelected incumbent, Paulie Walnuts. And we got a buncha other dudes.
The thing is, we can't vote for the leader of the party, though that is the way the election is presented in the media ("what about his leadership qualities?" etc.).
We vote for our MPP. The current gov hasn't a hope in hell, never had, never will in my riding. However, the incubent is a brain-dead ward healer (who supports the leader of his party, which is what counts).
So, do I vote for the party which represents my interests (well, actually none of them), just hold my nose, or not bother at all, since the ruling party doesn't factor.
Where's the Rhinosaurous party when you need it?
And you people in Cali thought you had it tough.

Bustamante is doing much better in this debate. Makes me feel better about having to vote for him.
But I thought both Camejo and Huffington did well and Arnold did better than I expected. It was McClintock who did well in the first debate who came off the poorest. There will be even more pressure on him to drop out.
But I hope he stays in and siphons off Republican votes since I don't want Gov. Arnold.
