One Night in Bangkok
Sodom
(SPV)

Bugger me, Tom Angelripper and Co have produced this 2-cd live testament to the live thrash power that is Sodom. Known for outrageous artwork and crushing speed, the band pull out all the stops on in this set. The band set was recorded in front of an appreciative audience. The set includes a live video 'Among the Wierdcong' which amusingly features a few shots of local "sites" including a pair of the Bangkok's infamous ladyboys. No doubt they would have a unique appreciation for the track 'Sodomized'. It also features a brand new track in the form of 'The Enemy Inside'. Highlights include the brutal (well then all of them are) 'M-16', 'Agent Orange' and 'Sodomy & Lust'. There is nothing subtle or clever here, but if you like you thrash loud, obscenely fast and nasty, then this is a treat for you. Sodom fans will surely flock to this outing.

Rating: 3.5
