The place is Newport, Wales. You can hear the faint pumping of a hiphop beat and faintly smell the warm thick smoke of a drugs trumpet. No doubt, you are close to the headquaters of the legendary Goldie Lookin' Chain.

GLC are a hiphop collective from the port who have gained popularity through a couple of white labels, some scratched up and copied CDRs and a huge amount of word of mouth. Their tracks are nothing short of brilliant and address important subjects such as being in love with a monkey (Monkey Love), driving with Dragon Taxis (Taxi/Enter the Dragon), selling draw (21 Ounces), how to skin up (Draw Club) and having trouble with loose bowels (Shit Youself). The beginning has seen tracks such as "Eggsies in da house" and "Leisure Wear", but throughout their career, they have managed to progress and improve. These guys "knows it" and let you know that if you don't knows it then gets to knows it. Fans are gathering from around the globe to get maximum pressure to the tunes of the GLC.
