Special Election

So I am finally taking a late lunch break from feverish 9/11 debates, keyboard punching, emotional fluctuations between profound sadness and eternal hope, and I pick up the Circuits secton of today's NY Times, and goddamn if there isn't the picture of yet another hosemonster running for the governor of California!

Does it ever end? Has there ever been a more misbegotten gaggle of sluts, trollops, steroid-slurpers, semen-swallowers, has-beens, never-were's, punks, fag hags, produce pummelers, smut peddlers and brown supremacists?

Is this the race for the second-most powerful position in the nation or the Special Olympics? No, I take that back and admonish myself: there is dignity and grace in the Special Olympics.
