<description>I believe the 1978 &#039;revelation&#039; came conveniently after a law suit was filed against BYU by a man of color who was recruited for their football team.  Seems he did not wish to attend a church where he was not equal - imagine that!  

Being a former mormon, I also recall the racist teachings.  Discrimination against any group of people for whatever reason is wrong.  Needless to say, my children (who are part African-American) were not subjected to the teachings of the mormon &#039;church&#039;.  Just my small contribution to stop the insanity of Josephs&#039; cult.</description>
