He said Fugitives and Refugees was the book he most enjoyed writing because he was able to chronicle some people and history of Portland nobody else would probably have paid attention to. He's giving out presents to everyone who asks a question during the Q&A which is a lot of fun. Some people might not think the story (which will be in a collection coming out in 2005) he has been reading is fun. I'd suggest bringing a bottle of water (peopel have passed out at each event).
