Peter "Comes Alive" Frampton is back with a great collection of bluesy m.o.r. rock. His long hair shorn and now white with age, Frampton has produced a pleasant 11 track affair. He covers 'My Guitar gently Weeps', no doubt a tribute to his friend George Harrison. There is not a duff track on here but the most raucous and fun is 'I'm Back' where he rhymes Arnie's last name with "Terminator". It is a rather cute anthemic song that should go down a treat live. 'Love Stands Alone' is a wonderful acoustic ballad. As you would expect from Frampton this is a seriously guitar heavy album, complete with an instrumental called 'Greens'. It ends with another ballad 'Above it All', a pleasant end to it all. This is a rather good album, a mellow affair that demonstrates the talent that is Frampton.

Sorry about that MT seems to hate quotes for some stupid reason. Will clean it up now.
Marty, it's the smart quotes that cause the problem, you should be able to turn them off in your word processing program.

The last CD I bought by Frampton was his newer LIVE in detroit CD. He can still play a good riff. I think I'm going to check this out, thank you, if for no other reason than to hear The Beatles cover.
BTW, Marty, I don't know if it's your cut and paste utility or what, but a friendly recommendation to clean up the Â"TerminatorÂ" text garbage in your post. It makes it harder to read. Thank you ;)
