At 9:00PM (EST) tonight the Washington Redskins host the New York Jets in the NFL season opener at FedEx Field. ABC coverage starts at 8PM (EST) with a pregame concert featuring Britney Spears, Aerosmith, Mary J. Blige, and Aretha Franklin.
Get your pool picks in, set your fantasy football lineups, and get on over to SportsBlog for information, predictions, opinions, and trash talking. We've got all sports covered, although right now the focus is mostly on football.

Joe, it took about four tries before we got our design down - their's will take on a life of its own.
I didn't note the "new layout in progress" comment in my first pass by your post here: I guess great minds think alike, huh? One more suggestion: misspellings destroy a site's overall sense of excellence: check out the word "immediately." You've got to take the time to proof your work, no matter what.
Some day they'll integrate a spell checker in MT. Until then I'll be known as the poor speller I am... :-)

Kevin, I'm a BlogCritic writer (bookofjoe), and had a look at SportsBlog just now. It's far too busy, not easy to take in at a glance as is BlogCritics. I'd advise a new webmaster to redesign the site: make it jaw-droppingly alluring!
