We dig TechTV, with all kinds of useful, entertaining and strange information on matters tech (especially since they picked us as a favorite blog - thanks Sarah!)
- Paul Allen, the entrepreneur and co-founder of software maker Microsoft Corp. is looking to sell his technology-related cable channel TechTV, the Wall Street Journal reported on Wednesday, citing people familiar with the situation.
TechTV, owned by Allen's investment firm Vulcan Ventures Inc. is worth between $250 million and $300 million, said the paper, citing sources.
....Cable channel operator Viacom Inc., and Sony Corp., co-owner of the Game Show Network have been approached to buy TechTV, the Journal said. [Reuters]

An early prediction: TechTV is doomed unless it is purchased by somebody like Allen who embraces and gets giddy about technology. Geeks need to buy it! ;)
