Jurassic Park 4

File this one under the heading of mixed feelings. I love the Jurassic Park series, but Jurassic Park 3 was an increadible let down. I'm not really sure how they can do a part 4. Ooooo... they get stranded on an island with dinosaurs... AGAIN. Haven't we seen this before? But at the same time I don't want to jump to conclusions, I mean who knows, maybe with the right idea and the right script new life can be breathed into the series. Signing up Keira Knightly is a good start.
It's true! I didn't think anybody knew about that! It was so amazing because I've been a big fan of the original film for years. Steven said he liked my work in Bend It Like Beckham and wanted to meet me. I think Sam Neill really pushed for me as well, 'cause we had worked together before on [BBC TV series] Doctor Zhivago. There were actually two roles in Jurassic Park IV Steven thought I might fit. First there was the granddaughter part, which wasn't all that big a role, she was only in it at the beginning. The other part he was considering for me was substantially larger, but I won't go into any details in case I make Steven angry (laughs). I truly don't know if I'll end up getting either part or not. The script is pretty much locked down, but I think they're still working on final drafts at the moment. But just to be even considered by Steven Spielberg was a humbling honour.

I read the Lost World, and the movie was blasphemy. they cut all the cool shit out(like the motorcyle chase w/ the raptor), and the ending sucked major assholio
The first movie was a phenomenon. It was a grand breakthrough in story telling and special effects. The 2 sequels sucked big time. Lost World was simply inexcusable and JP3 stunk. Figure this out people - The Kirbies set out to Isla Sorna to look for their son INSPITE of knowing dinos lived there ??? HAHAHAHAHAAHAHAH.. the thought of it simply makes me die laughing. Also, the little boy manages to trick a whole pack of raptors LMAO ! silly movie and I regret Speilberg even decided to shed bucks for it.
I hope the 4th movie has a beautiful script and a lengthy one at that so that fans like us can end the Jurassic journey with a high note.
jurrasic park 2 was ok . jurrasic park 3 sucked big time. But that was because steven spielberg didnt direct the 3rd one. thats why is sucked so bad. I just hope that steven can make a whole new script so that they dont have to can the franchise.
Dude, the first movie was beyond awesome. I mean, the way the T-Rex thrashed that jeep! Man.
But JP2 sucked! It was a total rip down of Michael's book! Then they came with JP3. It was ok. I mean, T-Rex vs. Spiny was cool. But the story was more horrific than anything I've seen in my life.
Altogeher, I think JP4 can go two ways, wonderful beyond comparison or more ugly than Saw 2! (Not story wise! Gut and blood wise!)

Anyone who read the books will realize that Jurassic Park 2 was a complete abomination. Jurassic Park 3 didn't even have a book I don't think, so unless they come up with a really good script, I think this is doomed. I am still bitter about them allowing a dinasaur to rampage through civilization ala Godzilla. Trust me, Crichton never would have written that. That was a Speilberg-ism and it wasn't much appreciated by me.
