Have your ever woke up with a monster hangover? Well, On Broken Wings provide the soundtrack to the night during your drunken haze. This is melodic metal at it's finest along the lines of Norma Jean and other bands that I can't seem to recall. I had a headache by track three "Giving up the Ghost", and to be honest it sounds like some kind of monster is screaming the vocals. This is done well in the metal genre of screaming vocals with pounding tribal drums and loud ass guitars. If you like it loud enough to make your ears bleed, then On Broken Wings is right up your alley. The lyrics are printed in the CD booklet, because you want be able to hear what they are saying. If you like loud metal, then this is quality.
