There was a previous post about adult swim praising the comedic shows on the sunday night line up, which is great and all but a majority of the time (the weekdays) adult swim plays a lot of animes. This week started a new run of shows (2 to be exacted), FLCL (Fooly Cooly) (airing at 12:00am) and Blue Gender (airing at 12:30am). Blue Gender is basically an animation of Starship Troopers and I don't care much for it, but FLCL is something entirely different.

Now all I can say is that FLCL is one whacked out anime with some of the hippest animations I've seen yet. Adult Swim claims it simply with one line, "It'll blow your mind." I can't help but agree. Much like the Adult Swim people, I have no idea what the heck this anime is about (it's simply strange) but as they say, I sure do like it!
