Killing Joke returns

What makes Killing Joke is how dangerous they sound. More than anything - more than Jaz's howl, more then Geordie's hollow guitar sound, more than the tribal drumming - what makes Killing Joke work is the rage that fuels it. In sharp contrast to what gets passed off as "angry" (Limp Bizkit, are you listening?), Killing Joke comes across stripped down and bare - not like an anemic weakling but rather like a hungry panther, and they're on the prowl for fresh meat.

(More meaty goodness at unproductivity.)

Great review of a great album! This album truly is one worth spending your hard earned cash on. Tom Johnson has written a very insightful review of what I'm astounded to find is Killing Joke's best and most consistent album, surprisingly delivered twenty five years into their carreer.
